Location

All neighborhoods where the students attend the north side campus are within 5 minutes of the Barbers Hill Schools, from pre-k to 12th grade. Mont Belvieu has a lot of new businesses coming in that are located right across from the schools, such as Sushi to Stir Fry - which has excellent Japanese cuisine and West Chambers Medical Clinic. The downtown road through the city is called Eagle Drive. The city has been beautifying the main street with new light posts and landscaping to make the area more inviting to the current residents and the new families moving to the area. There are some really useful networking groups in Mont Belvieu such as, "What's Happening Mont Belvieu," "Mont Belvieu Buy, Sell, and Trade," and "Hey Mont Belvieu!" The Hometown Journey Magazine is the major publication for information and events the communities of Baytown, Beach City, Cove, Old River-Winfree, and Mont Belvieu, Tx. The city of Mont Belvieu owns the Eagle Point Recreation Complex and Golf Course. The rec center allows the entire community to be involved with fitness, exercise classes, and swimming at their state of the art facilities.

The closest restaurant for Mexican food is Iguana Joe's on Hwy 146. They have a large selection of classic tex-mex entrees and famous green sauce! Further into Baytown you'll find Italian food at Carino's and Olive Garden, juicy steaks at Texas Roadhouse, and several sports bars to watch your favorite game while enjoying tasty wings such as Bayou City Wings or Buffalo Wild Wings.

There is a Walmart and Walgreens located nearby off of highway 146 a few minutes away.
